HAMILTON BEECH DRINKMASTER: In 70's avocado green, it's a great addition to my countertop. A great addition to my diet are the milkshakes I often make now. Put two eggs in there with the ice cream and milk -- that's breakfast. I used to try this in a blender but for a lazy bachelor like myself, cleaning a blender is a bitch, which means it stays dirty a lot, which means I stop making milkshakes. This is why I asked for the Drinkmaster.

RATCHET SET: My dad gets me a ratchet set nearly every year. I thank him and say "Wow, finally a ratchet set!" Expect two ratchet sets to be on eBay shortly.

TORONTO MAPLE LEAFS DOORMAT: My dad also thinks (wishes) I was a sports nut.

MICRO SCREWDRIVER SET: I'm into computers, my family knows, so someone gets me a computer screwdriver set each year. I'll probably keep this one as a backup, as it's easy to lose the tiny pieces.

PIONEER DVR-108 DVD BURNER: I didn't have a DVD burner yet because I thought I'd wait until dual layer was safely established. When my girlfriend asked for present ideas, I threw the DVD burner out there and felt kinda bad for asking for something expensive. Then I saw the prices. $100?! Jesus Christ, why don't I already have three DVD burners? Such wasted time! I've been burning CDs all this time LIKE A FUCKING FOOL.

SCHWEPPES INFUSION GIN AND TONIC 4 PACK: a gift to myself, and I'm very thankful to me. Like a very unsweet cooler, these pre-mixed G&Ts in a bottle taste great. Some say too limey, but I say lime is ok with me. FUN FACT: Lime in french in "citron vert". Fucking green lemon!

"IN THE SHADOW OF NO TOWERS" Art Speigelman book: TEN PAGES LONG, but printed on CARDBOARD PAGES to appear bigger. Most mediocre 15 minutes of my life. In summary, Art is very sad and anxious now that the World Trade Centre blew up. :(
