I don't know how that fits into racist imagery. I'll agree that the tribal part was a bit much, I really don't care that it was, but I'll concede it to whatever line it crossed. Though the "white lady" scene is just such a lynch pin, and all these arguments were formed pretty long before anyone ever saw the tribal part(I think). So basically what you're left with is a bunch of insane frame by frame analysis of the trailers that said the guy looks like black face here, and oh, they're taking a white woman, that woman should be black, since most black crime is black on black and blah blah blah. Though as far as I know no one went out of their way to make a cohesive argument against the game, that you're still going "well the black guys drag a woman, and also the tribal stage" just makes me assume it's in the same place it was. They're arguments that some Habib Croal could apply to Army of Two or Call of Duty 4. I mean the whole thing always has and always will just look like an over evaluation of a few trailer movies. The real problem is that there is not repeated QTE of 'black men drag white woman away', or anything to really sink your teeth into. The whole outrage just kind of rang hollow after the game came out. I mean the tribal section was worth a little criticism, though that was really it.
