The first person to suggest it on the forums got shouted down by entitled faggots crying about having to earn your score (by slaughtering imperial guard in 38 seconds as opposed to 42).[/quote] Space Giraffe solved this by not only saving your progress after every level you complete, but also saving your SCORE after every level you complete <i>with three or more lives remaining</i>. So you can either continue from where you lost your last life (without your score), continue from the last level you really nailed (with your score), or go back to any level prior to THAT and try to carry forward an even BETTER score. Not quite save states in MAME but still pretty damn convenient; I wonder if the "entitled faggots" who play this game would be down for something like that?[/quote]
