Re: Don't listen to these people. Stick with eating less.

With an already dwindling enthusiasm four months away from the goal date, the last thing you want to do is add complications like eating enough organic fruit to keep your hemoglobin count up, or whatever it is that health food does. Jesus, why not add "learn Spanish" to your diet too? Anything to make it more difficult.
Mischief Maker has confused the issue! His ideas are for people who want to eat healthy food without spending much time at it (him and yes me, and I'm excited about that sauce recipe and might try it!), not for people who want to become thinner without having to learn and then regularly execute complicated new procedures--and yeah, even the simplest recipe for making soup from scratch is pretty complicated from the perspective of somebody who maybe never cooks from recipes, and cleaning a blender is a lot harder than throwing away a plastic package. I just would have said, eat fresh fruit, try rolled oats instead of whatever sugared-up-but-still-below-the-calorie-limit cereal, and lots of other genuinely easy stuff like that that I won't go into because it would be totally unfunny and nobody actually asked for any advice.
