Interesting thing about games being late
If you're in development one of the things you hear about a lot is the concept of Agile development: providing value in iterations, solving problems one at a time, letting the customers in on each iteration to provide a constant feedback loop and not just dropping a "finished" product on them. What's interesting about that in terms of game design? What games do that? Dwarf Fortress and Minecraft are stellar examples of agile development. What's some others? It seems pretty great, actually, from a game dev's perspective, because A: you're never late, B: you're in contact with your customers and never have to wonder if you're wasting your time on an unimportant feature and C: people tend to be very forgiving of defects if they know that they can ask you to fix them and that it might happen really soon.
