Their "free" download requires a credit card
[quote name="Commander Tansin A. But giving them the Mastercard number for my Paypal Business Debit card says they can't authorize from it. So much for their claim that they can't authorize, why would they need to authorize unless they were trying to run a charge? I am very suspicious of places that claim there is no charge, but want a credit card number to get to the free stuff. Got my brother out of one of those, he didn't realize that he'd signed up for something with a $25 a month subscription fee. Looks like my suspicions were confirmed since they said it wouldn't authorize, if there's no fee, what has to be authorized? If they only charge when you order something that costs money, why do they need to authorize something now? They'd still have to run a charge when I ordered, if I ever did. It'll have to wait for the moment until I figure something else out to solve the problem. I'll try again as soon as I can find an alternative. [/quote]
