This means that people in the Middle East trying to organize revolutions against cryptomilitiary religiously fascist dictators probably can't use Twitter to organize places to hide from machine guns any more, but this is secondary to Rebecca Watson no longer being asked out for coffee at a convention by an ugly person or someone saying "more like Lindy West East South and North." 4) Twitter hires whatever staff necessary to hand addresses over to the FBI or local law enforcement when a poster is shown to be violating the code of conduct. 5) Unlike how things work in the desperate mind of Rich Kyanka, when you get suspended for hate speech, you don't get to join back up with a new account for 25 bux the next day. You're done. The guy who hates Dragon Age has to go get a credit card tied to a different address, which is a pain in the ass and yet still more fun than using the same amount of time to play Dragon Age. Now, when someone says that they hope you shove an entire stick of dynamite up your ass, instead of law enforcement shrugging and doing nothing, they can make a pull request for the name and address of the originator, and the cops can do nothing with that information, instead of no information.
