In this context it's common in feelgood therapist talk where they want to focus solely on positives. Everything that threatens the client's mood is labeled toxic and problematic. I am sympathetic towards not letting yourself become a sadbrains doormat, however it is unrealistic to expect that the world is there <i>solely</i> to enable your own hedonistic pursuits at all time without an investment (everyday work/struggle). Really enables a conflict adverse solipsitic culture.
