Re: What the fuck does "no barrier to entry" mean in regard to a politica

Here's the point: Whether or not the government is using that money "really well" (oh my fucking god), the government is using it. So taking it away is problematic, you know?
No, that's not a given. Right, there isn't an ounce of waste in the entire US government. There isn't anyone employed by the government that isn't a rock star. It's not adult day care for people like Tdarcos who can still move. It's a well-oiled perfect machine that runs on margins over a razor's edge. What planet are you living on? Would you hire someone who spent the last 20 years working for the government if you had a deadline?
Try not to build strawmen out of thin air. Government waste is a thing, it's just not a big thing, despite what you may have heard. Meanwhile back in the private sector, where benevolent godlike CEOs grant us jobs and deserve way more money, we have things like 1) a company I know has a $500k network mapping and monitoring solution that they don't use 2) incompetent people (in my experience mainly "project managers", I'm thinking of one in particular) somehow manage to keep their jobs while doing nothing The idea that anyone would throw away a resume because of recent state or federal government work being listed is stupid also.
