Re: I wanted to joke, "so is this for 2020, or 2021?"

Glad you're walking back. Plus, if you have the patience, even wait after the game is released depending on the tick/tock cycle of the cards...
Yeah that makes sense. The game looks good enough where i might take a day or two of PTO before a weekend and just nerd out. The one thing I don't want to do is spend time fucking with my computer during that precious vacation time. I don't remember if I told this story before, but I did exactly that when the latest Deus Ex game came out - I took a day off work before a long weekend. Leading up to it I ordered whatever the latest and greatest CPU was for my (old) motherboard. Woke up on my day off, opened the CPU package, opened my computer.... broke one of the legs off the fan. Spent the entire day running around town trying to get a fan that worked. What a mess.
(An aside - I remember Next Generation magazine telling people to wait WAAAAIT and not get a Dreamcast because they felt the Playstation 2 would be better. Which was amazing, I had never seen a magazine cut the throat out from their base like that
Brutal. Dreamcast could essentially play the NAOMI games which was enough of a selling point for me (ARCADE N E R D).
Yes. In a way game journos are kind of the opposite now. As a group they went from, "the Dreamcast isn't perfect, don't buy it" to "Shut the fuck up and buy these new cards" over at Tom's Hardware. But whatever. You have inspired me to get my Dreamcast running again. ICJ
