Though I do think it's kind of funny that out of all the people and subhuman monkey-people (like the Cro-Mags from Sliders, or Valerie Jarrett) who've been called cunts on this board in the last four years, Vested Id is a bridge too far. I would chalk this up less to nefarious political double standards and more to an excessive fondness for the handful of ideologically disparate (but not incompatible - we proved that! well, some of us proved that) individuals still clinging together after checks watch* twenty years of broken promises from John Romero. Besides, isn't the whole point of Vested Id taking a contrarian stance in these political threads to provoke a response? I'd hate to think he's doing it 'for all mod cons', or however that one poster used to put it.[/quote]
