Re: Once they admit they lost this one

Not to be that guy but let's face it, that's the problem. It's not a natural place for a lefty or libertarian to find themselves and they have a media to assure them that they were never wrong. This was an unequivocal win for Trump. He did not conspire with Russians, any more than Saddam had WMDs. I don't see a lot of victories ahead for Trump aside from re-election, so let that be your balm.
I think that is already an incorrect statement, when you frame it that way. It's such a bizarre pairing, the WMD lie and this, and indicates again your diseased partisanship. Election interferance and criminality by our President or those working for him are not left or right issues. The first is a fact. It may be the case that there was insufficient evidence for conspiracy charges. I feel like we should wait for the full report to understand why that is. But the problem is you don't understand why Trump is a bad president, and you aren't alone. There's a poll indicating that a huge number of people not only don't think he's self-evidently the worst President we've ever had, but in fact he's the BEST president. These people are uniformly Republicans, some of whom had "my dog is smarter than your President" bumper stickers for 8 years and/ or seriously argued that Obama was our worst President. But the fact is our current President is a liar, a moron, a baby, and a bully, and he is totally corrupt. But you guys think this is normal. You also believe that the DOJ and our intelligence agencies are full of hopeless. . . liberal?? . . . partisans out to get Trump. And now the politicization of these, along with the corruption that entails, is justified by whataboutism and becomes normal and expected too.
