Re: Was Andor that good?

Everyone is jerking themselves off about how great Andor season two is. I have been burned wasting my time with Star Wars slop for so long I don't care any more. Whoo hoo it's great it's awesome yaaay good for them.
I am on the treadmill again as opposed to walking in the forest, so I started season 2 of Andor. The beginning has Andor trying to get a TIE fighter that he stole working. It's fine, it's actual Star Wars again. Good and cool. Then we have a way too long sequence with Mon Mothra meeting old people. Okay. Then we have a way too long sequence with poor people calling themselves "toolies". When George had the one guy sell "death sticks" in the prequels, he gave everyone that came after license to use the stupidest nouns and adjectives in Star Wars and nobody can say anything. Perhaps I am supposed to know these toolies; I didn't finish season one. I suspect they are new characters from how they are introduced. We are not given any reason to care about them, no indication that they will become important people in the Death Star blowing up, which is what all of this is leading to. Andor is just relentlessly slow. The show runners have all the time in the world, I guess. I am not saying it's bad, it just doesn't value anyone's time. Jesus Christ, imagine getting the opportunity to work on a Star Wars show and this is what you get to the screen.
