Now, just because you'll accuse me of lying, I'll leave the next question for the reader to answer for their own edification: What specific year did Republicans reclaim a majority of southern congressional seats? Here's a hint: it was three years after I graduated high school (which, admittedly, was a long time ago). Full Republican control of most southern legislatures occurred roughly 15 years after that point. [/quote]
