Deus Ex 2 is my Master Of Orion 3.

call me a grodnard faggot, but I'm getting tired of the latest hot looking FPS games. I'd honestly like to see some more games made from the old Build engine. It had a certain...charm.
I'd agree that games like Unreal 2 are sorely lacking in gameplay, but don't blame the sexy, sexy graphics.
Wait until someone with a halfway decent idea for a story comes along and licenses the engine. What, you clowns still buy Quake and Unreal? Fuck that, wait for the "knock-offs". FPS is the only genre where the clones are better than the originals.
It doesn't matter how many reviews or user comments I read/hear that for whatever reason may try to warn me away from the game. I'm still going to buy it*. AND thus far it looks as BEEYOUUUUTEEFULLL as Unreal 2, which apparently sets some kind of brand new high watermark for graphical quality. Spector and company would have to find ten billion different ways to horribly fuck DX2 up in order for it to NOT be the best goddamn game released this year (and probably for the next couple of years as well). The new Star Trek:l33+ Force may not suck either. I know Ritual tends to fuck *something* up with every game they release, but I'll freely admit to enjoying FAKK 2 a great deal. At least during those times where you're not brawling with mosquitos. I just hope they can deviate from their standard operating procedure of including the most painfully unlistenable dialogue imaginable and instead staying true to the Star Trek universe of complete (yet somehow almost plausible) bullshit. *No, I did not learn the all-too-obvious lesson from my experience with Pool Of Radiance 2. Why do you ask?
