Even from the beginning I talked about my own weaknesses, but that's not the same as reassuring them, in a roundabout way designed for eventualities, that I genuinely do care about them, and I want them to be well and happy despite my experimentation on and betrayal of them. We could shove the Fangirls .htm files into a special subdirectory and create a robots.txt file that marked that directory offbounds to search engines, so we don't lose any other search engine hits (about 0.3% of our total traffic is referred from search engines - keep in mind that less than 1.8% of our traffic is from external sources to begin with).
