DUH!

T3 is exactly what I thought a sequel to T2 would look like if made in 2003. Let me elaborate: T1: cheesy B action/scifi film that's pretty cool and neat. T2: cheesy, angst ridden 90's action flick, complete with GnR in the soundtrack and little Mr. Furlong in a Public Enemy with the required BY LAW flannel over top T3: cheesy, over-the-top CGI and tons of inside jokes and fanservice The makers of T3 really had no choice but to make this movie tongue-in-cheek - any attempts at making it serious would have made it EVEN MORE GAY. I don't know how anyone could dislike the movie. There were really few expectations to meet (robots, ahnold, and explosions) and all three of those were passed with flying colors. ***____++++SPOILERS BELOW FAGOTS++++____**O_O My minor nitpicks: 1. How did the TX have a clue that Claire Danes would be at the vet place at 5:00 am? Wouldn't she have gone to the apartment first? 2. From the previews, it seemed like there was gonna be much more HOT robot vs. human war action. I would've like that better instead of the same recycled Terminator vs. Terminator assassination mission blah blah blah. 3. Not really a nitpick, but right at the beginning I thought that Ahnold was going to the same bar as in T2. As funny as the stripper scene was, I think a "O SHIT IT'S THE CRAZY NAKED DUDE FROM 10 YEARS AGO" scene would have been cooler.
Agreed. Also, there were several glaring inconsistencies/questions in the film that bugged the hell out of me: 1. If Arnold is a new Terminator with no memory of the previous, then how did he know to look in the visor for the keys and avoid human casualties (and don't tell me that Clair Danes in the future programmed all that into him, because that would create a whole new slew of questions, like WHY SEND AN OBSOLETE MACHINE?). 2. Don't tell us that John Connor dies and then NOT extrapolate on HOW he dies (we know that the Terminator, apparently the same one sent back, killed him, but why? Was it a mercy killing, or did John's supreme power go to his head?) 3. Was the virus that led to the creation of SkyNet's AI the same one the T-X entered into the web-phone to gain access to the University's Student Database, or are they totally separate incidents? 4. Differences in actors aside, did John Connor whimp-out between the movies? Will have to see it again to come up with more "why the fuck" isms. Admittedly, I will see it again. Cyrris
1. Clair Danes HAVING LIVED THROUGH THE EVENTS OF T3 programs the Terminator in the future to know where the keys are and all that shit. Fuck, Binro could explain this to you, and so can Bill and Ted. 2. Ever heard of a SEQUEL???? Like the movie you're reviewing? 3. Was that episode #35 of TNG or the original Star Trek? 4. He seems wimpier.
