I'm pretending to be Japanese on the internet
Hmmm. Let me see. I could spend my time with such riveting discussions like whether Sony will match the graphics in the Killzone trailer, whether Forza Motorsport can gain sales traction against Gran Turismo or whether Grandma who played the Wii at her family's place will be compelled to buy one. I could talk about the games I play and be told that they suck by people who usually have an average logic and reasoning power of special ed 2nd graders. Or I could spend time with the hundreds of games I've bought over the years and know that I like because I don't keep the games that annoy me. I could spend time playing with those with people I genuinely treasure and appreciate and enjoy their company. Hmmmm. Tricky! Now it's not always like that, obviously, because I do participate in gaming discussions. But if I did more so than playing games, I'd imagine I would be rather depressed with the whole business. Now of course I think people who work in gaming or enjoy debating with others probably more spend more time talking about games than playing them because their other interests overlap with the pure business of playing games. Not me though. I have a set of rules that I live by so I never spend too much time on any one thing, because that's just the kind of person I am. -Kitsune
