Re: Here's where I stopped reading.

Somewhere at the Cheeto-scented end of all of our chained realities there’s a version of actionbutton.net rendered largely in bright pink Macromedia Flash, and in that version this review’s lone star is a brilliant shade of gold. Sadly, we toil here at this end of reality, where good children sometimes go hungry and it rains on chocolate layer cakes and mastheads must be followed to the absolute immutable letter.

I have this pet thesis that it's time to start writing novels and poems in groups: the single author has outlived his usefulness. Genuine innovation and insight past what has already been expressed must and shall be the work of multiple authors - like teams of scientists, troupes of theater players. Needless to say almost nobody likes the idea. Even my brother doesn't like it. As I was explaining a new wing of the theory - The Syllogism Of Enhanced Perception, in which a team of authors could, by adding their own details and sanding away the work of others, create moments of absolutely sublime description, moments which are to our current novelists' work as the electron microscope is to the lenses of Leeuwenhoek - he interrupted me. "It sounds like what you really want is an editor," he said.
