I don't think it's an app. I'm not sure exactly how stuff integrates into IE either. I'm going to see if I have this problem down. You get a pop-up that happens exactly every five minutes, this pop-up happens regardless of what you are doing, and launches in a new IE window It appears nowhere in msconfig, HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run, step by step boot, in any of the specific users registry or, start-up folders? All I can think of is recovery, reinstalling IE (somehow), or disassociating IE with the shell(probably all the wrong terms here). I could swear I read somewhere that Mozilla diehards were doing that with IE as to completely rid themselves of it. I'd see if it comes up in safemode, and if it doesn't try starting up with all the stuff in your Run tab in MSCONFIG unclicked. Other than that, we're on Google?[/quote]
