Actually, I guess there is one way we can test that. The steering on your right-side wheel is good, right? There should be wires going from the harness to the wheel. But regarding the EEPROM chips - if they are socketed, that's good, because we can burn new ones and easily replace them. If they are soldered straight to the board, that's a huge pain in the ass, and we may want to send the board to someone who can burn new EEPROMs and resolder them.
