Six games!
[quote name="Gutsby"]1. X-Com. It still does what it did best. Those diaper-wearing little Guiles still make me care about them. The incredibly mean ambiance of this game has never been copied or bested. 2. Crackdown. It's a game where pretty much everything is excessive and radiant. The co-op is a magical, rambling adventure where everything must be scaled, everything gets shot, and everyone but you and whoever you're playing with are victims. The way this game blends between being about platforming, being about driving around, and being about killing hundreds of people amazes me every time I fire it up. 3. Halo 3. A space marine game with tons of colours, tons of enemies, tons of weapons, tons of vehicles, the most expressive AI I've ever fought, and a four man co-op campaign. Blasting through the campaign with your friends using different skull configurations is fun every time. 4. Painkiller. It never leaves my harddrive. You shoot everything, you keep shooting, then you turn into some roaming death god that pinches enemies to mush with his eyes. Everything is different on every level and still mercilessly 80's all the time. 5. Metal Gear Solid 4. The weirdest game I have ever played. Incredible production values and design face off against the storytelling voice of one of the most inane people on the planet. I was in awe at the sheer balls of it all by the end of it. 6. Ninja Gaiden Black. People can argue about combo systems all they want, this game has an ebb and flow to its high-speed combat that I've never seen the likes of. Completely ludicrous.
