| Why would I want to pay money to play a totally retarded game on the computer when I could play the totally retarded game on a board, or even perhaps a better board game? It's like just completely baffling, unfriendly, and boring as fuck. Each person gets four minutes to take their turn and it's a sixteen turn game, so basically you're gonna spend better than half an hour because everyone playing is some asshole who used to play the board game and will take as much time as he pleases individually tackling each of your guys before he scores the touch down.
I don't see how anyone even WANTS to complete a fucking game, since you'll just sit there and watch your guys get steam rolled slowly as fuck, and then take your turn to get knocked over and lose your turn right out of the gate. I don't see how people cannot realize shit like this, or Hero Clix just loses any of the negligible appeal of the table top in a direct conversion. I'd imagine the games are even longer because you need to watch replays and shit, when in the table top game you could just say "okay your guy is down" without animating it with your little gay figures(I assume). Maybe there is some way to lower the turn time, or make the animations faster. It wasn't in the options, so that's basically it. Slow as fuck and way too little going on. |
