| So even though two minutes isn't long enough for a round, you can still do that if you're in a rush, and rushing makes the game more fun. It's still infuriating to run into a guy who has been playing the game for 12 years as table top, but mostly the game is nice. It's a retarded cavalcade of multiple fumbled passes and retarded rolls. The races are pretty varied and fun, everyone is somewhat balanced but have real specializations in which they shine, so you can find a race that suits you but still run the ball or play dirty if the mood strikes you. I started playing the Skaven and can't get enough of them, they're super fragile, super fast, and entirely rely on completely random mutations.
So it's pretty straight forward and fun, complete with a big heaping of totally insane table top nonsense. The community online is pretty good, some people play really vindictively, though it's not that bad. You can easily avoid injuries by picking one of the stronger teams. |
