That's right. by Lizard_King 04/28/2009, 9:35am PDT I don't agree with it, but it's something that you can expect to have a broad base of support anytime something controversial is being dealt with, especially in entertainment. But maybe it just seems rational in comparison with the other emotionally charged bullshit that gets tossed around these topics. How many rhetorical variations on "think of the children" can there be? I think my least favorite outside of that category is the armchair general. It's one thing to be skeptical, but quite another to make definitive judgments about desirable levels of realism when your understanding of the issue is very limited.
