Seriously. The first version is still the best. Assault marines were a tad overpowered, and there was still ripper capping, but other than that they just needed to fix the glitches and everything worked great.
There was plenty of unbalanced shit in the beta, people just hadn't gotten around to exploiting it yet. I don't believe mek mines and ravener tunnels have been altered since the beta, and they are a big problem now.

I did like the old req rate much better, though. It took the pressure off to build and let me micro my shit.
