What went on in that clip is brilliant, and Fussbett provided a valuable service in pointing it out. Even removing the pleasure of FSBT's prose, you are still left with a very, very stupid individual reading an article from the New York Times more or less verbatim, and stumbling over some verbiage that would only imply that G5s were made since the 60s if you were skimming.
The clip demonstrates that Beck doesn't know anything about cars while claiming otherwise, that he's lazy, that he's not above plagiarizing an article, that the only original contributions he's capable of are rolling his eyes and petulantly going, "NNNGHH" and "TCH" every few seconds, and - best of all - that his own staff thinks he's a fucking joke, since car guys are everywhere, and there must have been a dozen people see him make a mistake like that before it hit the air.
I don't think you were seriously giving anyone shit, though, so the layers of trolling have gone from Beck to Fussbett to you and now to me. That's the only thing Beck's good at, sort of... making the rest of us post.
