Vuze is categorized as Adware by Softpedia, due to its inclusion of a Vuze Toolbar for web browsers. The toolbar is an optional component of the installation and is not required for the program's operation. The toolbar can also be uninstalled at any time if ever installed by the user.
You're fucking shitting me right? Daemon's Tools still tries to change my search engine each time I install it, and I wouldn't call that adware. Vuze is fine, you just disable the awful content layer. It might be bloated, but I use firefox, so why stop there? |
