AVP (the movie) vs AVP2 (the PC game) by The Joosh 01/24/2005, 7:03pm PST Whoever wins... well, we lose in AVP the movie except one chick who gets her face burned which isn't fun I'm sure. AVP2 the game has a better story and better weapons. The only thing the movie does better is effects (which is pretty damn good). The winner is definitly AVP2 the game, for the marine and pred campaigns alone. The flares and motion tracker have more talent than paul wk anderson (whatever his stupid name is), and the inclusion of the smart lmg and that combat walking suit beats everything else in the game, EVEN THO the predator and alien campaigns had some awesome shit. The movie itself wasn't too awful altho it's certainly a lower quality movie than Predator 1, the first three Aliens movie, and this game. Missing especially: predators making a trophy of the 50 year old pepsi bottlecap, pretorian aliens, waiting so fucking long to show us even the predators masks, too many humans not shooting aliens like in the marine campaign of avp2, and of course the only Predalien showing up in the very last frame. BOO. Coulda been worse tho. The AVP2 game definitly wins the human skull and attached spine award tho.
