Gonna take care of the computer monitor first, and grab something that will also work with the 360. I will confess I was a bit freaked out by the lack of any reliable metrics when it came to lag time. I've used LCD screens at work (psh) but the only game I've ever played at work is The Circuit's Edge (1989, Infocom) because I was trying to extract the PC's phone's ringtone so I could use it as mine. So I don't even know what lag FEELS like on an LCD. I don't see how lag can't be anything other than the worst thing ever, and therefore make the entire technological sea change away from CRTs pointless.
However, I imagine that I am not a strong enough player to notice any lag from any input or output device. I'm almost positive I'm making a mountain out of a molehill here.
