Anyway, take what you will from the news:
http://www.teknogods.com/ just released a multiplayer loader today. It has both coop and competitive games.
There's a thriving cracked multiplayer scene at Garena. This includes Modern Warfare 2. I checked this morning and all 3 room were 100% full.
Garena is kinda legit - I own Warcraft III: Frozen Throne, and I play DotA on Garena. Likewise, I own Starcraft and I play on ICCUP. Neither of which checks CD keys.
As a result, both do have a high rate of piracy. But it's the only place to go to escape the lack of support for either games, especially in the competitive gaming scene.
Here's the kicker. TeknoGods is already working on the Starcraft II server emulator. It looks like we'll see BnetD/ICCUP 2.0 before beta ends.
