| 1.) The first time I saw Terminator I had come in partway through and somehow had the impression that John Connor was going to grow up to be sko Hitler and that's why the Terminator was trying to kill his mom. I thought that was a really interesting idea because the robot was so scary and the woman was mostly defenseless so you want to root for her but on the other hand the Terminator's intentions were pure. Do the ends justify the means and stuff like that? I was let down to find out Connor was a good guy.
2.) The commercials for The Real Ghostbusters figures made it look like you'd push the bendy wire representing the proton stream through the barrel of the proton pack and as the wire emerged it would snap back to it's regular bendy shape - thus looking like the beam was fluctuating like it ought to. Instead, the wire was fixed to the barrel and could only rotate in place. Gay. |
