The boss fights, and almost everything else, gets significantly better on Hard.
-The combat improves a great deal without the cartoon head lightning, since your timing is based on cues like sound and pacing of the fight instead of an almost too late visual indicator. This means that 20 hit combos will become par for the course, and you'll understand that the waves of enemies are just combo multiplier puzzles in boss fights. There's this moment in the combat which apparently many were able to hit in medium but I only got to in hard where everything clicks and you're tearing shit up on another level.
-The stealth becomes high stakes more quickly, and guns are the oh shit alarm they should be.
-Joker and Croc are still unsalvageable. Sorry!
But yeah, I wish I had realized the benefits of challenge training before. The back button taught me more than any intrusive tutorial popup.
