Here you go, Failed Romeros, $1 million for your retarded game ideas by Ice Cream Jonsey 03/04/2010, 9:56pm PST
Link.

Many people have good ideas, but few have the resources to do anything with them. Nexon America is hoping to inspire aspiring creative minds with a $1 million reward.

The people who brought you MapleStory, Combat Arms, and other such free online games are doing rather well, if you haven't noticed. As such, they're putting some of that sweet, delicious money into the "Nexon iNitiative" program, which will "provide up to $1 million" in support to budding game developers.

If your submission makes the cut, Nexon will sponsor and co-develop the project, and later publish it through their network. There aren't any requirements, per se, but there is a certain "type" that Nexon prefers:

The Nexon iNitiative is looking for potential PC-based games that have broad appeal and encourage community and social interaction. Flash, client-based games or ports from other platforms are welcome. Games with strong online elements will get serious consideration, but no good idea will be turned away.

You can begin submitting concepts immediately at the official iNitiative website, up until April 30, at 6:00 PM PST. Finalists will be picked by June.

"It's like Aquanaut's Holiday but you get older with each step. Oh and you can play backwards and the player character is an old woman in a poorly-fitting summer dress." If you're on the east coast, don't lose out on your million dollars by submitting it after work on Friday, April 30th! Take some PTO if you have to!
