Meh. by Mischief Maker 06/24/2010, 12:38am PDT For me the neat thing about Deus Ex 1 was the plausible conspiracy story taking place in a recognizable near-future US, the nano-tech was just sci fi flavoring. Once you get past Computer Jesus destroying civilization the story's hook is gone. The World Economic Consortium is secretly taking orders from the sectoid cult? Let's expound in 200,000 words, THAT'LL make it interesting!
