Despite how upset you are about your Warlock, WoW doesn't have totally unreasonable level progression. The change you suggest would just leave you with less stuff to learn later in the game, or I guess you could only open talent trees up at level 85.
Despite all the "blizzturd" talk, getting new abilities at a reasonable pace is probably one of the undeniably fun things about RPGs. Also I'm sure there is some fucking D&D feat you can do the same thing with, it was just generally assumed that a character wouldn't specialize in conjuration before he got conjuration spells.
b) this is the absolute best that Bilge can do and it's pointless to complain?
I really don't see why the warlock tree is such a stumbling block for you. It feels like you noticed this discrepancy in your talent tree and decided "CERTAINLY OTHER MMOS MUST BE BETTER THAN THIS" well buddy, they're fucking not.
Replace Improved Soul Fire or Emberstorm with Burning Embers, a talent you get later in the tree. Burning Embers creates a DOT effect based on your Soul Fire damage AND also your Imp firebolt damage. Look at that, a talent I can use right now. Whichever talent you don't replace, make a slight change to impact something I or my minions can cast now. OH NOS I HAVE UNBALANCED TEH TREE. |
