Super new patch for C&C: Generals! by FABIO 03/03/2005, 10:08pm PST
Just released!

I thought they had given up on this game. There was a ton of major stuff left broken, which was a real shame because this was the best RTS since the original starcraft. I've come to the conclusion that this is a much better game than Battle for Middle Earth (I jumped the gun on that review and based it on just the few missions of the campaign), and the only reason I still wasn't playing it was because of the brokeness.

The biggest fixes

- Scud storm bug as well as other incomplete building bugs where you could order an incomplete attack building to rapid fire has been fixed.

- Ridiculous Super Weapon general alpha aurora damage reduced.

- Infantry general's ridiculous attack outposts have been toned down.

- Ridiculous demolition general's suicide ability must now be triggered manually instead of automatically exploding upon death (they should have toned this down further by totally taking away his rebel ambush ability).

- China's inferno cannons now useful.

- Sentry drones now somewhat useful

- Tank hunter explosive now somewhat useful

- Air force general's upgraded king raptor damage toned down

- Avengers, the ONLY anti air defense against the airforce general, have been made more resistant to air strikes.

- GLA marauder tanks beefed up

- Battlebusses toned down

- Technical damage toned down so that groups of them rushing can no longer rip apart tanks and buildings

And other stuff
