Funnily enough, I've never heard anyone say it who was particularly valuable to the company.

Regarding Egypt, I started reading Metafilter because everyone abandoned Caltrops for a little bit. Things got pretty heated in the comments! Some cretin named jessamyn deleted a bunch of posts and then wrote something to the effect of, "You're acting like you do not like this place. Act like you like this place." Welp, there goes taking "MeFi" seriously. Maybe the new Egyptian dictator can do something about it.

My friend from Turkmenistan was once questioned regarding her TREASONOUS (IN)ACTIONS when she didn't participate in a mandatory state celebration. They gave her (and everyone) two months off from college to practice for this horseshit. She took those two months off for real. In the end, a bribe of $100 for a doctor's note solved everything. I mean, no she was shot an killed. THE END.

Mubarak proves again that dictatorships are hilarious as long as you don't live in them. His BS about not running again, or firing his cabinet, or whatever was pretty entertaining for awhile. I was just hoping for a final act where they kill him and drink Pepsi.
