Any long-term fun comes from playing with really silly loadouts, preferably while drunk. As Brutal Legend was to RTS, Trenched is to tower defense. You drive your mobile trench around and shoot things, they drop money which you can spend on turrets. You can play with 3 other people online. It's $15. You're either sold or not by this point.
