btw lj is eating its young by ndd 12/23/2011, 5:47pm PST for yall that love nerd tears short: russian heads of lj impose new site design. russian and english-speaking userbases equally appalled, affronted. but in russia, lj is a real-world concern, a platform for rl socializing and politics and news. russian lj = not fandom. so their tears are not amusing. amerikanischer tears are 99% fandom-in-wheelchairs and all delicious. my favorite is the known psychopath person demanding that lj pay her boyfriend's medical bills for site-induced migraines. also everyone blames russia, russians. spleen vented in the most giddily childish of ways. A+ whining all around.
