Right now the system I guess uses cookies to save the last handle you used. I note that if you code HTML into a posting, some things are disabled; the post won't go through (specifically the "style" attribute trips the software into refusing the posting; the pointy.php program rejects it with a nastygram: Your Post Sucks: Style attributes are globally banned. I CAN'T TRUST YOU PEOPLE WITH ANYTHING.)
So I'm wondering if it might be possible to get registered names as an option, or does it matter that some people can impersonate others here?
Also, when trying to demonstrate an example, ampersanded text is translated to the appropriate item; so if I put in ampersand lt semicolon, the system will then change it to less-than in order to show internally what the item is, when I click the preview button it changes the ampersand codes and then, because I have an "illegal html item" (even though it was coded so that it would not be recognized as html), it won't post!
Now I have trouble trying to show the example because of another nastygram Your Post Sucks: I don't like that & in your tag I've had to use * to represent &. |
