fabio's right get warlock by jeep 07/15/2012, 9:47am PDT I got it from the steam sale and so far it is the best one-unit-per-hex civ-scale strat. like endless space you can see they basically screen scraped an old classic and said "well we have it all mapped out, we won't change anything unless we can justify that it's an improvement" and that seems to mostly work. it has problems inherent to some of the design decisions they made: you can't queue building production (which is a stupid oversight) and you can't really set your units to walk across your whole empire, so turns take way too long as you have to like re-assign them to walk over and over and over. I played it a lot, though. Steam says I have 18 hours in it just this weekend.
