I know that Street Fighter Anniversary just came out last month and I thought, "Hum. I and many of my friends used to play Street Fighter all the time, up until things started getting silly with the 57th consecutive release of Street Fighter 2. Maybe I would enjoy playing it now. But I don't want to waste money on an Anniversary collection, I only want the best one." Thus, I would like to know the most obvious, unequivocal choice for best Street Fighter game, particularly when it comes to balance and variety among character selection, and the value of skill in utterly demolishing opponents. I have operated under the assumption that this game was in fact Street Fighter Alpha 3 (which I own) but I would greatly enjoy a heated debate on the subject (if anyone cares). Also, general thoughts about the Anniversary Collection would be appreciated. |
