| The final case in it has a lot of CSI-style stuff that makes it even harder. It's almost as long as the first 3 cases combined. #2 is alright but I got pissed off over some of the pedanticness of the evidence system (i.e. - I was supposed to point out a bullet hole in a robe, but I didn't choose the right side of the robe in the black and grey photo still and so I lost the case) and also they've gone from having a 16 year old turn into her more well-stacked sister to having a 6 year old turn into her more well-stacked adult cousin. Creepy. Though I heard that the Godot villain in #2 was even better than Edgeworth dialogue-wise. I feel like the Phoenix Wright series is havings its own Cat Hair Moustache problem By the time of the whole Apollo Justice thing it gets wrapped up in so much mysticism and gimmickry I wasn't interested.
I heard that the Miles Edgeworth Investigations spinoff brought things back to basics though. |
