| It's sold a billion dollars worth in the first 3 days it was out. This isn't a lot, this is fill the Grand Canyon quantity.
The NBC Nightly News mentioned on the first day that it was released it had sold $800 million. If we take the list price of $60, that means it sold more than 15 million copies in its first day. This is more than any other entertainment product in this short a period of time in history. It's more than the Harry Potter series. More than Batman. More than anything else. |
