| I visited that link. It reminds me of Half-Life or similar sandbox-style games, then the video mentions I can either buy the game for $12 or download the free demo. So I decided to try that, it tells me I need to have Steam activate the download, similar to the way my e-mail will tell me when I check a voice mail from Magicjack I can download the file and either save the file or send it directly to VLC, which is what I usually do. So, after I download a 110 Megabyte file - and I don't know if this is the game or it has to upgrade Steam by 110 MB - it asks me if I want to log in to Steam, then I try and it fails. So I tried again through Steam and now it tells me the fucking demo is 816 megabytes. What the hell was the 110 megabytes just I downloaded, a virus or a rootkit? But beyond that...
THE FUCKING DEMO is 816 MEGABYTES? Jesus H. Suffering Christ, how big is the goddam game?! If it wasn't for the fact Comcast's transfer limit is 250 gigabytes per month I'd be worried. |
