Original Story: Extra Life, a charity organization which raises money for Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, has had its website come under DDoS attack, according to a post on the organization's Facebook page. Jeromy Adams, founder and director of Extra Life, repeatedly apologized for the issue and asked fans to spread the word on "every form of social media" they could.
"I am not sure what kind of person would DDoS a charitable initiative," Adams wrote." I am so sorry that you are going through this frustration today. Our entire team is purely heartbroken that someone would do this. But it has happened. As frustrating as this is for everyone involved, it pales in comparison to what the kids we're trying to save go through. That reality, for me personally, is about the only thing keeping me somewhat calm right now."
Posts on the group's Facebook page say the page has been returned to normal and is now up and running, but at the time of this writing, it still seems to be experiencing difficulty.
Is this because Extra Life is more like, er... well, the PA charity? Or was this because they were caught in the wayside by something else?
