CK puts out the disclaimer that improv is boring before using its rule as an example lest everyone thinks less of him for respecting improv. At the end of the story, Jim Norton asks if he was being serious about finding improv boring, like he agrees but he's nervous to admit it. CK says "yeah", and O&A, always being two steps behind, figure now is the time to try and keep up being funny by calling back to the original bit when it really doesn't fit. Awkward silence follows the failed interjection.
Thinking O&A are on the same level as Louie earns you a lifetime ban from lecturing anyone on comedy :( |
