We should have done something, but we wasted everyone's time and energy in Iraq and Afghanistan.

I guess I have a serious question. How much does the "exhaustion" of the general public, when it comes to wars, factors into fighting more wars? Because while a guy carrying 55 lbs of gear in the desert may actually be exhausted, I feel (and it's kind of disgusting) that flabby flabs on the couch not wanting a THIRD war and not voting for people who support a third war is a factor.
