The Atlanta is bullshit. by WITTGENSTEIN 08/17/2015, 10:32pm PDT A tier 7 tin-can cruiser. Its max range is 10km when the Cleveland-class and up can fire 13-14km. Its armor is paper thin and every time a cruiser/battleship of equal tier or higher sneezes at you you're going to lose a turret, catch fire, or have your engines/steering wrecked. Also it has one of the highest firing arcs of any ship, more like a mortar, meaning a long travel time to your target requiring a long lead-in. And finally its guns are shit at 127mm, which is equivalent to the tier 2 Chester (or a tier 9 destroyer). Its AA is equal to the Cleveland-class. And it costs like 40$.
